Palazzi di Genova : architectural drawings and engravings /

In 1672 Rubens published a splendid volume on Genoese Renaissance architecture based upon existing engravings. It depicted the façades and plans of a dozen villas and palaces. The drawings are examined, discussed and catalogued in the light of modern scholarship in these two volumes
