Arnold Bolle

Arnold Bolle (October 5, 1912 – March 18, 1994) was a leading figure in the Montana conservation movement. Although his work primarily focused on local Montana forests and conservation efforts, Bolle's activism was instrumental in bringing forest conservation into the public view at a national scale with his widely disseminated report, [https://ncfp.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/bollereportpdf.pdf ''A University View of the Forest Service''] in 1970, which became known as the "Bolle Report."
