James Buchanan, President of the United States of America, to all and singular to whom these presents shall come, greeting : whereas a treaty was made and concluded on the Qui-nai-elt river, in the Territory of Washington, on the first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five, and at the City of Olympia also in said Territory, on the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six, between Isaac I.
