Text on verso: "350,000 acres comprising the greater part of what is called the Cherokee Neutral Lands, in Bourbon, Crawford & Cherokee counties, Kansas, still owned and offered for sale by the Missouri River, Fort Scott and Gulf Railroad Company, on credit, running through ten years at 7 per cent. annual interest . . . The Supreme Court of the United States, by its recent decision, has settled all questions of title to these lands in favor of the Railroad Company . . .The prices of the land vary according to the soil, loca-tion, water supply and other advantages . . . Coal of superior quality and inexhaustible in quantity, is found on almost every section, producing cheap fuel, and an unfailing resource for profitable labor. The climate is delightful. There is no better fruit re-gion in the United States. Winter wheat, corn and all other cereals, tobacco, hemp, sweet and Irish potatoes, and all other roots and vegetables grown in this latitude are produced here.
