The polysemy of the adult hitman is studied within the framework of the family, taking into account its ideological and aesthetic conformation in the era of globalization and neoliberalism. The reassessment of this film corpus questions the apparent depoliticization of many of these films that are usually characterized as mere suspense or action productions, thus underlining the sociocultural impact of their whole. Given its transatlantic approach, an approach to the film industries of both Latin America and Spain is combined, resulting in a work that offers innovative reference material for specialists, but also for those who are approaching these themes for the first time | ||
